Saudi Arabia fighter sports a 7 – 1 MMA record. Abdullah Al-Qahtani truly is an MMA pioneer in his home country. He began his career back in 2017 as an amateur by defeating Mohammed Dogani in what was a debut bout for both of them. After his sole amateur fight, he moved up to the professional circuit. First, he was awarded a unanimous decision win over Abdullah Muhammad Ali Musalim at Phoenix FC 6. Next, he joined the ranks of BRAVE CF promotion, where he won his next four consecutive fights. His first victim was a current UAE Warriors lightweight competitor, Islam Reda. However, the streak was put to an end by Ilyor Bakhtiyar Uulu at BRAVE CF 62.

Now, in front of his home country crowd, Abdullah Al-Qahtani will take on Edukondala Rao. The Hindu fighter has a 4 – 1 record and is a product of the Indian MMA circuit. His five-fight winning streak was stopped by Gurtej Singh on Matrix Fight Night 12.
To emphasize the Middle East’s strong involvement in the amateur MMA circuit, the fight card will also include a sole bout held under this ruleset. Another Saudi Arabia fighter, Malik Basahel will square off against Vinicius Pereira. Basahel has more experience as an amateur, as he is the 2023 IMMAF world championship silver medalist. As a result, this win secured him a PFL contract. Pereira harnessed his skills on the tough Brazilian amateur MMA scene, where he rides a three-fight winning streak.
