Speaking of their schools participation,Pedro Damasceno Jiu-Jitsu Coach of Al Ain Schools said:

Our students couldn’t contain their excitement as they got the chance to practice Jiu-Jitsu ahead of the championship.

For some of the children it was their first introduction to the sport, but after the demonstration and lessons the students were interested and wanted to practice the moves themselves. This is a great initiative to keep our students active and to teach them something new and exciting.

The school competition was held in February at Al Nahyania Hall and Fatima bin Mubarak School. Winners of their respective division will compete in the National Championship 2014 that will be held in Al Gharbiya (Western region) on March 11th and 12th.
