Ahmed Faress vs. Mochamed Machaev set for Sangai MMA

Ahmed Faress vs. Mochamed Maechev

Ahmed Faress will take on Mochamed Machaev this Friday, November 25th at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium. This will be a feature bout on day one of a two-day fight card during the 2022 Sangai festival.

Ahmed Faress vs. Mochamed Machaev

Faress has a 16 – 6 MMA record and suffers a three-fight losing streak. The Desert Force, BRAVE CF, ONE Championship, and UAE Warriors veteran didn’t win a fight since February 2020. He stacked up a twelve-fight winning streak in the beginning stage of his career. It was put to an end by Jalal Al Daaja at Desert Force 21 back in 2016. Since then ‘The Prince’ has been bouncing back between wins and losses. Most of his victories came by the way of submission. He managed to submit his opponents on 13 different occasions.

Machaev has an 11 – 1 record. He also managed to stack up a long winning streak in the early stage of his MMA career. The Austrian won 10 consecutive fights prior to his only loss at the hands of Gamzat Magomedov at BRAVE CF 52. He bounced by defeating Adem Vashakmadze back in April. ‘The Beast’ has six stoppages to his name. He was awarded victory by judges on four occasions. Only once he managed to submit his opponent.

It looks like fans can expect a classic grappler vs. striker matchup with the Egyptian fighter looking to utilize his ground game. His opponent most likely will want to make this a striking affair.

Faress’ countrymen will also be in action as Basel Ahmed takes on John Mitchell and Omar Khaled squats off against Mohammad Bilal.
