The promising face of Saudi Arabian MMA , Ahmad Makki, will be squaring off against Abdullah Mohammed Ali from the United Arab Emirates in Phoenix Fighting Championship 4 in Dubai.
The event which takes place at the Dubai World Trade Center will be headlined by a welterweight bout featuring Team Nogueira Dubai fighter, Mounir “The Sniper” Lazzez go against Christophe Van Dijck of Tiger Muay thai.
Though he still didn’t a real break in the world of mixed martial arts, Makki is one of the brightest talents in Saudi Arabia, having fought the biggest local names in the bantamweight division. Despite not having any victories yet, Makki showed great heart when he faced all three of his opponents. He tied the hard-hitting Souane, endured un-real punishment from Bardawil, and fought for three long rounds with the best bantamweight in the region.
A powerful grappler and durable fighter, Makki has what it takes to put pressure on his next bantamweight opponent and get his first professional win.
Appearing on the 2nd season of Desert Force Al Academia, the United Arab Emirates fighter, Abdullah Mohammed Ali was able to TKO his way into the show with ease. For unknown reasons, he departed from the show and then reappeared on the professional MMA scene. Having only 1 professional fight against arguably the best Middle Eastern Bantamweight, Nawras Abzakh, the UAE warrior has qualities that are badly matched for his opponent. His reach, powered by great boxing skills and a tenacious fighting spirit will place a big favor in this battle.
Although it’s been a while since their last appearance, this next bantamweight fight between Ahmad Makki and Abdullah Mohammad Ali will open up their path to becoming even more serious contenders at the thin and new Phoenix MMA bantamweight division.
Stay tuned for the Phoenix FC 4, the international mixed martial arts event that will take place on the 22nd of December at the Dubai World Trade Center.
