Abdul Kareem Al Selwady has appreciated Jordanian MMA fighter and leading welterweight contender, Jarrah Al Selawe. Abdul Kareem Al Selwady will be fighting his fifth bout in (Brave CF 13: Europe Evolution) Brave Combat Federation on 9th June at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Selwady is just one victory away from tying to the record made by Jarrah Al Selawe who has five straight wins in the promotion.

Selwady will be facing Swedish lightweight fighter, Erik Carlsson. The Jordanian MMA fighter who trains at Fortis MMA had a few comments on his opponent. “My opponent is pretty well rounded. He is good at mixing up his game on the ground and stand up, but maybe his brightest strength is his toughness. He isn’t easy to breakdown and stays composed under pressure . But that’s not surprising to me since I’ve fought tougher guys like Charlie Leary. So this will be a fun one”, said Selwady.

Selwady is the second Jordanian fighter to have most number of appearance in the promotion other than jarrah Al Selawe. “Jarrah is the present and future of the Arab welterweights . I’m saying this because of his record and not only his 12-2, but the names he fought . He fought some really tough adversities and showed many times that he is capable of coming back in fights even when he was in bad positions. Plus also not to mention he is also young and has a long road ahead of him to improve as a martial artist and fight in his prime level” added Selwady.
