Brave Combat Federation 4th installement, Brave 4: Unstoppable has just been pumped up with a super addition. Brave CF’s Lightweight contender Abdulkareem Al Selwady (6-1) will face Alex “Coringa” Rodrigues (5-1) at Brave 4 on March 31st, the promotion confirmed to ArabsMMA.
In his promotional debut, Abdulkareem Al Selwady made a huge statement, putting on an electrifying performance vs. Rami Aziz at Brave 2: Dynasty. This main-event victory put the Jordanian in the spotlight, making him the target of many challengers across the globe.
Yet, Brave officials already had Al Selwady booked, only to reveal today that he will be facing Alexandre ” Coringa ” Rodrigues. Rodriguez boasts a professional record of 5 wins and 1 loss, with all wins by way of submission. His 1 loss came after a 5 fight winning streak, and “Coringa” will be definitely looking to bounce back on the winning track and be the man who stops Al Selwady.
The stakes are big for this fight, and it also comes with a special twist. Alex Rodrigues actually trains at Icon Jiu-Jitsu Switzerland and is team mate of Aziz Julaidan, Abdulkareem Al Selwady’s bitter rival.
After his loss to Julaidan back in 2014, Al Selwady avenged by outclassing Julaidan’s teammate and sparring partner Lois Cadet at Desert Force 17. However, the Jordanian will not spare the chance to deliver another blow to Julaidan and his team.
Brave 4: Unstoppable will be headlined by Brave Combat Federation’s first championship title fight between Algerian Elias Boudegzdame and Mexico’s Masio Fullen. Broadcast plans weren’t announced; past Brave events have been aired on OSN Sports 4, Bahrain TV, MYX TV ( Nationwide US Coverage ), ABS CBN Sports+Action , El Ray Network and LIVE on BraveFights.com.
