One of latest additions to Desert Force featherweight division is Lebanon’s Bachir Yammine. With an extensive Kung Fu background and 4 MMA amateur wins, two of which under the cage warriors banner, Yammine will be making his professional debut against Hussein Salem at Desert Force 18.

Desert Force 18 is taking place Monday August 17, 2015 at the “Hikmeh Stadium” in Ghazir, Lebanon.

Having been involved in martial arts for over 15 years, Yammine has reigned as the Lebanese Sanda national champion for over 13 of them and will surely have mental experience edge on his side when he steps in the Desert Force cage.

We all know very well that home town advantages exist, but it seems that this guy is already head high and comfortable facing anyone in his division.

ArabsMMA reporter met up with Yammine to discuss his upcoming fight at Desert Force Beirut. Here’s what he had to say:

“I am glad that I finally had the chance to fight in this promotion. I just want to prove to everyone that I am the king at 66 kilograms. I haven’t seen Hussein Salem fight before, and it doesn’t really matter as we will both show up in the cage, and that’s the time that counts. I am possibly the oldest fighter in this division, and that’s what I will capitalize on. Most of these guys go in a brawl, but I will remind them that experience and technique beats all. All respect to Hussein for taking this fight but he will be surprised by my speed and aggressiveness. May the best man win.”
