Gurdarshan “St. Lion” Mangat and Stephen “Sniper” Loman will attempt to make history as each looks to become the first Brave Combat Federation Bantamweight champion. Brave officials announced that Mangat will face Loman for the inaugural belt at November’s Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions.
Mangat x Loman is the second title fight announced for November 17th. Featherweight champion Elias Boudegzdame makes his first title defense against Brazil’s Lucas “Mineiro” Martins on the same day.
Mangat hopes to remain undefeated inside the Brave cage to claim the title. He has two wins and is coming off a career-defining victory against longtime rival Abdul Muneer at Brave 5: Go For Glory, in India. He made his promotional debut at Brave 2: Dynasty when he knocked out Troy Bantiag in the second round. Against the “Sniper”, “St. Lion” will bring a six-fight winning streak into the cage with him.
Loman, on the other hand, started off his Brave career at the promotion’s first-ever event, which took place in September of last year. The Filipino put on a clinical performance to deny SBG Ireland’s Frans Mlambo, who trains alongside Conor McGregor at the famed gym. He’s unbeaten in his last three outings.
