Brave Combat Federation has revealed the full fight card for Brave 16, which will take place at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi, UAE on 21st September 2018 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The fight card features two major championship fights. The main event features welterweight champion Carlston “Moçambique” Harris defending his championship against “The Jordanian Lion” Jarrah Al Selawe. In the co-main event, reigning featherweight champion Elias Boudegzdame will defend his title for the second time against the 2011 NCAA division champion Bubba Jenkins.
The main card also features some of this year’s most awaited fights, including the return to MMA of 10-time IBJJF World Champion and jiu-jitsu legend Bruno Malfacine, who takes on Cristian Rodriguez Jr at flyweight. Middle East star Mohammad Fakhreddine from Lebanon comes back from injury to face dangerous Gadzhimusa Gaziev. The undefeated Mounir Lazzez will make his much-anticipated promotional debut at Brave Combat Federation against Dmitrijs Homjakovs from Sweden in a catchweight bout.
The undercard is also full of intriguing match-ups as middleweight prospect Chad Hanekom looks for his second Brave victory against Albania’s Leon Aliu, while “The Pride of Bahrain” Hamza Kooheji returns to bantamweight to take on Crisanto Pitpitunge. Brazilian Flavio Serafim will debut against Vaughn Donayre and Brave signee Louie Sanoudakis faces Nawras Abzakh in what promises to be a clash of prospects at 61 kg. Finally, Hussein Ayyad, IMMAF medallist from Bahrain, takes on Jonathan Corton.
The massive fight card will feature representation from 17 nations: USA, Russia, Bahrain, Brazil, Jordan, Canada, Philippines, Guyana, Algeria, Lebanon, Georgia, Sweden, Tunisia, South Africa, Albania, Italy, and Palestine. Brave 16 will be broadcasted live through Abu Dhabi Sports, Brave TV, Combate, StarSat, VodaCom and Fite TV.
