WATCH Brave 6 Kazakhstan video highlight

Brave 6 was Brave Combat Federations first co-promotion in company history. The event took place on April 28th, 2017, in Almaty, Kazakhstan in the Almaty Arena. It was headlined by Russian powerhouse, Eldar Eldarov who defeated the Brazilian specialist Henrique “ Rasputin “ Gomes in the opening round of the main event. It was Eldarov’s 9th career win and 4th since joining KHK MMA professional team.

Present in his corner was the honorable coach Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, father of the undefeated UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov. This senior coach of the Sambo national team in the Republic of Dagestan trains several athletes in Combat Sambo and wrestling in Russia. Abdulmanap was also one of the first and most important MMA figures to join the KHK MMA family , when it was first announced back in 2015.

The co-main event that evening saw Kazakhstan’s Habiti Tuerxunbieke, who fights out of China, decisively finishing Azerbaijan’s Fariz Ibadly via knockout. This was a crowd pleasing performance that left the fans on the edge of their seats as the main event came closer. The rest of the card gathered fighters from Brazil, Russian, Poland, Iran , Sweden , Azerbaijan and Lebanon. The fight night featured 9 fights out of 10 ending via finishes with notable performances from Middle East’s biggest MMA figure. Mohamed Fakhreddine from Lebanon dominated Lucasz Witos, and Sweden’s Erik Carlsson knocked out Russia’s Gaziev with a cracking knee to the body. Brave 6 also marked the promotion’s first ever female MMA bout between Mariya Agapova and Yulia Litvinceva.
