Imagine getting through the entire Desert Force 25 fight card … only to get stuck in between over a 100 fans going bonkers and stampeding to jump into a brawl!
That’s exactly what happened on Monday night (Dec. 19, 2016) inside King Hussein Sports City, Amman.
In what started out as a verbal dispute between Jordan’s first boxer to qualify for the Olympics Ihab Darweesh and random fans turned out to become a huge brawl which ended outside the arena. Jordanian MMA fighter, Nawras Abzakh who fought that night was also spotted in the video above trying to calm down the crowds.
The fight was absolutely personal and had nothing to do with any of the fighters taking part of the fight card. Yet the lack of security at that time was due to some scuffles happening back stage after the fight between Osama Alsaidy and Mostafa Rashed.
Crowd fights are not uncommon at MMA events, or any sporting event for that matter. Desert Force 25 also had another share of fights (outside the cage) happening at the Desert Force 25 weigh ins. This video went viral, check it out.
