Brazilian Black Belts Shine on the Mats of Abu Dhabi World Pro

Marcus Buchecha, Rodolfo Vieira and Gabrielle Garcia confirmed their favouritism getting the gold medal in their categories.

The Brazilian black belts stepped over the mat on Thursday April 17 for the World Professional Jiu Jitsu Championship in Abu Dhabi UAE. Marcus Buchecha, Rodolfo Vieira and Gabrielle Garcia confirmed their superiority in getting gold medals in their categories. Luiza Monteiro surprised the champion Beatriz Mesquita with a score of by sweeps and took the first medal at 66kg.

The veteran Braulio Estima opened very well the final matches. he submitted his opponent tarcisio Jardim with a very tight triangle in the beginning of the fight.

Old friends from previous competitions Andre Galvao and Romulo Barral step face to face once again. The black belt from Atos started with a sweep (2×0) and earned his third gold medal in his division. But for very little his opponent didn`t draw the match cause at the last minutes Barral almost did a sweep as well.

The younger prodigy of the “arte suave”, Leandro Lo keeps shining at his debut. The student of Cicero Costha did a great match against Victor estima, with a score of 4×4. It was a judges decision, Lo earns the win, and another gold medal for in his successful journey.

Rodolfo and Buchecha shine.

The main stars of the World Pro, Rodolfo Vieira and Marcus Buchecha didn`t have any problem for the victory. The first submitted Luiz Panza with an armbar, on the decision of -100kg division. And representing Checkmat – Buchecha did a great takedown (2×0) against Alexander Trans, in first seconds and took his gold medal for the over 100kg.
