UAE, Abu Dhabi – Suleiman with a much expected win over Salama out-wrestles the egyptian and puts an end to this fight in the seconds stanza.
Both of Tarek Suleiman and Mahmoud Salama were coming off losses and were looking to make a point in Monday’s brawl. A typical wresler versus striker, both guys brought it but Suleiman the younger and more prepared took it home.
This fight was the fifth and final Prelim fight at Desert Force 13 which took place at FGB Arena in Abu Dhabi.
After getting rocked early in the first round, Tarek managed to recover fast and retaliate with a vicious slam sending Salama onto to the matt head first, leaving him with a bloodied eye. The first round had Tarek working his ground game and slowly peppering the egyptian with short knees to the body.
After getting away from two Kimura attempts in the second round, Salama ends up in a fetus position under a large barrage of strikes from he heavy handed Suleiman.
Suleiman proved that he is a force to be reckoned with at the 84 Kg middle weight division after dominating Salama and finishing him off in the second round by way of TKO due to strikes.
