Abu Dhabi, UAE – Iraqi Mehdi Hassan and Noureddine Hadjar from Morocco met in the fourth undercard bout that took place in the Desert Force 15 event.
Nordine Hadjar looked to use his 11cm reach advantage, but was not successful in avoiding ATT’s Mehdi’s powerful strikes.
This light heavyweight bout was part of the preliminary card at Desert Force 15 which took place FGB Arena in Abu Dhabi.
Mehdi Hassan kicked off the bout with a big left that floored Noureddine Hadjar and had him all over him like a fat boy on cookies. Bloodied Noureddine however was a bit of a threat as fished for an armbar that he failed to finish. Before the end of the first round, a huge left by Mehdi left Nordine out before he even hits the floor!
Mehdi Hassan to ArabsMMA reporter Zahi Ephrem:
It feels great to win in front of the Arab crowds. I am very proud to represent the Iraqi and Syrian people who are all suffering.
An impressive Desert Force debut for Mehdi Hassan, looking forward to see his next fight on Arab ground!
