Headlining the main event of the evening is Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley, former UFC contender and a Top level Welterweight force.Daley will square off against One FC Veteran and BJJ blackbelt Rodrigo ‘Ximbica’ Ribeiro in what promises to be a crowd pleasing performance.
Daley finished his last 2 opponents in a brutal manner , his latest fight in February featured a highlight reel Flying knee KO which shook the MMA world.Rodrigo on the other hand is coming off a devastating loss Vs Phil Baroni in One FC 5 Via TKO (soccer kick and punches), he will look to put that loss behind and prove that he is still one of the top welterweights in Asia.One way to make this statement is submitting ‘Semtex’ in Dubai in an old school fashion. Mounir Lazzez Vs Tonie Machielson (Co-Main)
Lazzez (2-0) will face Tony Machielson , an English MMA fighter holding a record of (1-1-1).The odds are definitely on Lazzez’s side who earned both his wins with impressive Ko’s in DFC 2 and DFC 3.The UAE crowd loved the Tunisian after his amazing flying knee that stunned Cona followed by multiple hammer fists to the head.
Expect an impressive standup performance by the ‘Sniper’ who will be looking to prove himself as one of the top welterweights in the middle east !
Mohammed Yahya vs Muhamad Isaev
Mohammed Yahya, UAE’s youngest MMA fighter and a fan favorite is on this fight card. Coming from a fast submission win over Omar Chammari in DFC 3 less than a minute into the first round , he will be facing Muhamad Isaev a Dagestani fighter who made an impressive debut with a hard fought win over the durable El Ghaffari , almost finishing the fight on multiple occasions.
Both lightweight fighters will look to finish this fight early. Isaev will wait for the right timing to submit the UAE prodigy and emerge victorious , But this will be no walk in the park for the Dagestani , Yahya and his powerful strikes are a constant threat to any takedown attempt from Isaev.
Mohamad Walid Vs Bhupesh Kamble
Syrian fighter Mohamad walid(2-0) will look to add a third win to his clean record when he faces Bhupesh Kamble(3-5).
Walid TKO’ed Rafat Shawe in his latest fight and will have no problem stepping over Kamble in DFC4. Bhupesh is on a 5 fight losing steak , and his fight against Walid doesn’t look like a streak breaker. Known for finishing his opponents in the first round, Mohamad Walid should have no problem taking care of business and moving on to his next opponent. Again, the puncher’s chance is always present, but does the Indian pack enough power to upset the crowd?
