Jake Paul is eager to make his highly anticipated debut in the Professional Fighters League (PFL). The YouTube star turned professional boxer has been making waves in the combat sports world, with impressive victories over notable opponents like Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, and Anderson Silva.

Since signing with the PFL in 2023, Paul has expressed his desire to transition to mixed martial arts. However, despite calling out several high-profile fighters, a suitable opponent hasn’t materialized yet.

In a recent interview, Paul reiterated his eagerness to step into the PFL SmartCage, emphasizing the need for a worthy adversary. “We’re trying, you know?” Paul said. “We’re trying for me to find a fight and find a name,” Paul said in an interview with The National.

“It’s just been difficult to find someone with a big enough name that makes sense. But I’m sure that day will come,” he added.

While Paul is set to return to boxing against Mike Tyson in November, he remains committed to making the jump to MMA in the future. ““It all depends on being able to find the right opponent and the timing of it making sense.”

“But I’m ready whenever to make a big fight in MMA happen. “Obviously, with the PFL. It’s going to be huge,” Paul reassured.

As Head of Fighter Advocacy for the PFL, Paul has already played a crucial role in securing high-profile matchups, such as the upcoming Francis Ngannou versus Renan Ferreira showdown. Fans are eagerly anticipating the day when Paul will finally make his own MMA debut.
