Brave Combat Federation heads to Abu Dhabi, and it will feature a pretty famous “Jordanian Lion”!
Welterweight contender Jarrah Al Selawi (8-2 MMA, 1-0 Brave) and newly signed top Italian prospect Daniele “Scat” Scatizzi have been tapped for the main-card of Brave 4: Unstoppable, officials confirmed today.
The bout, first reported by ArabsMMA.com, will take part of a fight card headlined by Brave’s first ever title fight between Elias Boudegzdame and Masio Fullen at featherweight.
It takes place March 31 at IPIC Arena, Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi.
Broadcast plans weren’t announced; past Brave events have been aired on OSN Sports 4, Bahrain TV, MYX TV (Nationwide US Coverage), ABS CBN Sports+Action , El Ray Network and LIVE on BraveFights.com.
Al Selawi (8-2), regarded as a top 5 welterweight in the Middle East will be a massive crowd favorite in UAE.
He marches into this bout with a 3 fight win streak and 8 professional career wins. The “Jordanian Lion“ holds victories against fighters like Mohammad Fakhreddine, Ramy Hamed, Artem Reznikov, with his latest victory coming at Brave 2: Dynasty, submitting Erik Carlsson in the second.
Scatizzi, 23, is originally from Rome, Italy. He currently lives and trains at Straight Blast Gym Ireland, under the mentoring of coach John Kavanagh. “Scat” has a professional record of 8 wins and 2 losses. A Bellator veteran, with a win over his fellow countryman Daniele Miceli, Scatizzi beat Bartlomiej Kurczewski via unanimous decision in his last bout at VCE 5, in Italy.
Jarrah has been eyeing the title ever since his Brave Combat Federation debut. Yet standing in his way is a man with a similar record, who once rode a 6 fight win streak and looking to revive this momentum. The welterweight division in Brave is getting interesting with each installment!
With the addition, the latest Brave 4: Unstoppable card includes:
- Elias Boudegzdame vs. Masio Fullen (Featherweight title fight)
