After Arnold Quero was forced to withdraw from his Brave CF debut due to undisclosed reasons, Brave Combat Federation officials announced that undefeated prospect and former Desert Force champion, Nawras Abzakh (6-0), has signed with the promotion and will replace Quero to face Felipe Efrain on the preliminary card of Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions, set for the Khalifa Sports City Arena, on November 17th.
Fighting out of Amman, Jordan, “The Honey Badger” will make his Brave debut on short notice and brings with him an undefeated record of six wins in six bouts, including a victory over current Brave Bantamweight Jalal Al Daaja, who meets Jeremy Pacatiw on the same day. Abzakh hasn’t fought since “>beating Brazil’s Aldir Junior in December of last year.
And he will have another Brazilian to deal with on November 17th. Felipe Efrain, who trains out of the famed Chute Boxe gym with the likes of Brave title challenger Lucas “Mineiro” Martins and Thomas Almeida, will look for his second promotional win after debuting with a sensational body shot KO of UFC veteran Walel Watson.
