ArabsMMA reporter Zahi Ephrem caught up with Jose “Shorty” Torres during the 2016 IMMAF World Championships in Las Vegas.
KHK MMA’s Torres who is himself a 2x IMMAF World Champion believes that the championships are getting tougher by the years, with a much higher caliber of athletes taking part.

The competition is becoming harder every year with more countries taking part and fighters taking it more seriously. Team Bahrain showcased great performances, eventhough not everyone won, the team gained experience fighting with international athletes before they move on to fighting at a pro level.
