KHK MMA team wins again , this time at Titan FC 38 which took place in Florida on April 30.
MIAMI – Reynaldo Reyzhino found out the hard way that it’s no fun to enter the cage with KHK MMA fighter and 2 time IMMAF world champion Jose “Shorty” Torres.
Torres wore down the dangerous Reyzhino with a grinding attack, dominating all three rounds, proving that he is ready to take on the upper levels of bantamweight warriors.
The bantamweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s Titan FC 38 event at Miccosukee Resort and Gaming Miami , Florida. It aired live on UFC Fight Pass.
A phenomenal performance by Torres 24, marked his second professional victory with a one-sided battering of the more experienced Duarte, punishing his opponent till the last second of the third round. Torres used his crisp striking to pick apart his opponent from the clinch, as well as slick takedown defense to ensure the action never hit the floor unless he’s in a dominant position. Duarte, who has never been stopped throughout his 16 fight career, is one gutsy opponent. However it was controlled chaos from Torres who delivered damage from all angles this time. The traffic was one sided as Duarte was seemed to be unable to engage in any offense in any of the three rounds, and was on the receiving end of some heavy leg kicks and vicious ground and pound.
Judges scored all three rounds 30-27 Torres, and on some specialists fight card the score was even less.
With the win, Torres remains undefeated and proves that the hype around this KHK MMA bantamweight prosepect is real!
