Hailing from Minas Gerais , with an impressive 18-3 professional record, Lucas became a familiar name to the MMA community after fighting seven times in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), while bagging four wins. Currently, Mineiro, whose nickname refers to his home state Minas Gerais, is on a 3-win streak, with his last victory coming by the way of submission over Gilson Lomanto in September in his hometown in Brazil. Mineiro’s only 3 losses came inside the UFC cage, and he remains undisputed in all his other international fights. Standing 6 foot 0, Mineiro will have a noticeable height advantage over his shorter opponent. With 16 of his 18 career wins coming by way of knockout or submission, Mineiro will also attempt to finish “Bananada” in Curitiba.

A native of RIO DE JANEIRO, Goncalves has strung together an impressive streak of 12 straight victories at one point in his career (2009-2012). Making his professional debut in 2007, the 32-year-old has since entered the cage for 33 times, walking victorious in 22 of them. Despite his ups and downs, “Bananada“ has proved to be dangerous for anyone on the ground. His Jiujitsu is definitely high up and could serve him a lot against Mineiro’s long limbs.
