MEFC – Middle East Fighting Championship 1 took place Friday, and you can catch the official results and watch highlights from the event right here.
MEFC 1 went down at Dubai Festival City in the United Arab Emirates. The event was in collaboration with MBC Action and Shahid under the supervision of Mr. Ammar Mutie Al Ahmad. You can check out ArabsMMA event coverage on Instagram too.
Different factors made this event successful and entertaining. Out of 12 scheduled bouts, 10 did not go the distance as athletes got the job done with style. Notable appearances and guests present at the event: Sheikh Saeed Al Qassimi, Mohammed Al Hosani, Tarek Suleiman, Mohamed Fakhreddine, Mohammed Karaki, Mounir Lazzez Wesam Hamimi, and Eslam Nader to name a few.
In the main event, Osama Al Saedy needed just 91 seconds to finish Mohamed John Juma. After taking him down, it was just a matter of seconds before Osama sunk a vicious Americana and forced the tap. The co-main event was even faster! Ahmed Fares stormed into this bout with a flying knee, dazing Fatih Senturk and forcing a tight guillotine choke that ended the match in 31 seconds.
