A lightweight bout between Michael Aoun (0-0 Desert Force) and Mohammad Yahya (1-0 Desert Force) has joined this April’s Desert Force 12 fight card.
Matchmaker Youssef Nassar first reported the fight earlier this week. Desert Force 12 takes place April 28 at Al-Hussein Youth City Boxing Arena, Amman, Jordan. The main card airs live on MBC action, and live play-by-play coverage on ArabsMMA.com.
It’s not clear where Yahya vs. Aoun will be placed on the lineup.
Aoun will be debuting at Desert Force after taking part of Al Batal reality show and then competing at a local event in Beirut, Lebanon. Training under Hassan Berjawi at Tiger Muay Thai Lebanon, his striking skills will surely match with Yahya’s Muay Thai background.
The 19-year-old Yahya looks to sail the ship against Aoun and add a second win to his Desert Force record. He also made his successful debut in Bahrain were he showed heart, skills, and precision, finishing the tough Nafush with a knee followed up by ground n pound.
This is an evenly matched fight! The one who wants it more will get his hand raised at the end!
Aoun has been eager to compete at this level for a while and will not be denied, but surely Yahya has other plans for this night.
Another bout announced for Desert Force 12, which might be headlined by a title fight between Anis Al hajjajy and Mohammad Ghorabi for the welterweight title.
