Phoenix fans will witness some exciting action as Mohamad Sayah will make his Phoenix debut against Alfie Davis in Phoenix 9, Dubai.
The event takes place on August 2 at the Dubai World Trade Center, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Headlining the event is a welterweight title fight between Claudio Cezario and Hayder Hassan. Two more title fights take place on the card as Ali Al Qaisi takes on Chabane Chaibeddra for featherweight gold and Anas Siraj Mounir meets Majdeddine Ayadi for the lightweight strap.
Alfie Davis’s 7 fight winning streak came to an end at Phoenix 4, where he lost a unanimous decision to Anas Siraj Mounir in an entertaining showdown.
Nevertheless, Alfie is still 1-1 in his Phoenix record, having previously grabbed a unanimous decision victory in Phoenix 3 over Yousef Wehbe. Having formerly fought in well-known promotions such as UCMMA, Cage Warriors and even Bellator, Alfie brings with him plenty of high level skills to the Phoenix cage, often consistently delivering both entertaining and technical fights. He now seeks to return to the winning column at Phoenix as he takes on yet another tough opponent.
A new arrival to Phoenix, Mohamad Sayah (7-5-1) is no stranger to the Arab mixed martial arts scene. Sayah too has encountered a recent bump in his record, losing a unanimous decision after having had an impressive 3 fight winning streak. A win over Alfie Davis is exactly what he needs to make a powerful statement and the right kind of impact at Phoenix.
