Two of the most terrifying men in Desert Force Welterweight division have three rounds with which to decimate each other when Abdallah Abou Hamdan takes on wrecking machine Ibrahim el Sawy in Desert Force 13 main event from FGB Arena in Abu Dhabi.
Several other bouts with contender implications will also be on the line, but that’s not all! Some interesting under card “Prelims” matches are scheduled to take place on right before the main card. Palestinian Mohammad Abed will be making his Desert Force debut/pro debut on 25 August when he takes on Egypt’s Mohammad “Bad Boy” Hassan. Abed is ready to challenge himself against the best that the promotion can offer, starting with Bad Boy Hassan.
Mohammad Abed to ArabsMMA:
All I want to say to my opponent is that it has been a very long training camp. I have put everything I have in training the past 8 weeks so he should expect me to be doing the same in the fight!
Mohammad Hassan on the other hand was unfortunate in his Desert Force debut in April when his first fight under the Desert Force banner ended in a controversy. The Egyptian had received a kick to the groin which the referee did not see, and was left in agony as the fight ended with a guillotine choke win to Mohammad Triki. Hassan will be definitely looking to make an impression in his “proper” Desert Force debut this August!
Hassan was quoted on Egyptian Top Team’s Facebook Page saying:
I don’t know much about my opponent, and I’ve never seen him before. But I do know one thing, when the cage door closes, I will make this a nightmare for him until the fight ends!
