Following a successful event in its home country in May, Desert Force announced Lebanon as their next destination for this summer. Set for August 17, the date will mark the promotion’s first ever event in Beirut.
Desert Force has flirted with the idea of doing a show in Lebanon for several months, especially considering the pipeline of talented fighters coming from the country. With early signs hinting Desert Force 18 in Lebanon, rumors already had it that Mohammad Ghorabi will be facing Youness Mikkis on the upcoming fight card.
Coming off a recent loss against current welterweight champ Mounir Lazzez, Mohammad “Da Killa ” Ghorabi (3-1) will definitely look to bring fireworks to ensure a second consecutive defeat doesn’t get tacked onto his record.
Youness Mikkis on the other hand was part of the last season of Al Batal Reality Show. Mikiss showed great talent defeating all of his opponents to move forward to the finals. Mikiss, one step away from being crowned as champion, was set to face Walid Akrouh before suffering a wrist injury that had him out of the show.
