Riyadh– Saudi Arabia’s Mostafa Rashed made some loud noise in the opening bout of Desert Force 16, pounding on the Syrian Noureldine Alzar before a TKO finish.

Rashed (2-0 Desert Force) rocked Alzar (0-2 Desert Force) with a stiff punch and refused to relent until the referee was forced to intervene 36 seconds into the first round.

The light heavyweight bout was part of the first fight of Desert Force 16 event at Green Halls, Riyadh, KSA. The fight will be aired on MBC Action.

The official end came at the 0:36 mark of the first when the referee pulled Rashed off Alzar as he wailed away with punches from all angles.

As they touched gloves, Mostafa opened up with an over right hand that landed clean on Alzars face. Nour El dine in turn went for an unsuccessful take down as he tried to recover. Mostafa then unleashed a barrage of punches as Alzar defends himself poorly on the cage.

Alzar unable to fight back, falls to the canvas and Mostafa ground and pounds his way to his second Desert Force win. What a way to start this fight night! Mostafa emerged victorious in front of his home crowd in the opening minute of the first round.
