Phoenix Fighting Championship Reveals 2 Events for the First Quarter of 2018

Thailand and the United Arab Emirates will host Phoenix Fighting Championship’s first two events of 2018

Phoenix Fighting Championship has announced through their official Facebook page that Thailand will be host to Phoenix 5, taking place on Monday the 26th of February 2018. Phoenix 5 will feature a Muay Thai card and will take place at the Rajadamnern Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand.

The promotion has also revealed plans to return to Dubai in March for Phoenix 6 after a milestone debut in the UAE in December 2017.
CEO Mr. Chahe Yerevanian made the announcement official during the Phoenix 4 event in Dubai.

“Our fervent fan base in UAE is a cornerstone of our success in the region and we are thrilled to bring another action-packed event to the market this year.”

Yervanian added that the UAE will become the second headquarters to Phoenix after Lebanon, and revealed plans to hold multiple events in the UAE in 2018.

“The UAE has a rich in record MMA and the traditional martial arts, making it an attractive destination for our athletes. The country is now our second headquarters”, with 6 events planned to be hosted there throughout the year.

No fights have been booked for the events. The other Phoenix show confirmed for 2018 is Phoenix 7 fight night in Russia in April 14, 2018.
