Pride Fitness Center announces the hosting of 3rd Degree Black Belt and UFC and Strikeforce veteran, Professor Jorge Gurgel on the 22nd of January. To be more specific, Professor Jorge will be conducting a seminar for “Competitive Success” in BJJ tournaments.
Jorge Gurgel received his Black Belt under Marcus Aurelio. He is a UFC veteran and a member of The Ultimate Fighter season 2. He is a 6x Brazilian State Champion, NAGA Super Fight Champion as well as competing in international tournaments such as the Pan Am Games.
Along with competing Professor Jorge has coached numerous UFC champions and produced some of the best BJJ competitors in the world.

“Pride Fitness Center recently became the affiliate gym of SAS Team in the UAE and Jorge is visiting Dubai for the first time not only to coach the team ahead of the upcoming year of competitions, but to help spread the SAS philosophy and history in the Arab region.
Jorge plans to become an integral part of the future SAS Team development and continue growing the ever expanding popularity of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Dubai, the UAE and the Gulf as a whole.”
The seminar will be held at Pride Fitness & MMA Training Center from 7:30pm until 10pm. The cost is AED 200 for members, AED 250 for non-members.
