Alan Omer had his sights on Brave featherweight title ever since the promotion was born. Unfortunately for him, he will have to wait for another chance after being injured in training. Omer is unable to face Masio Fullen on December 2nd at Khalifa Sports City.
As soon as the injury announcement was out, Iraqi fighter Rami Aziz popped up. Aziz posted on his official facebook page that he is ready to step in on short notice and take this fight at featherweight. He then approached ArabsMMA confirming the level of seriousness and readiness to make this move and take the fight.
Aziz had made his promotional debut with Brave at lightweight and lost against Abdulkareem Alselwady. Yet, what most of you might already know, Aziz has always fought in the 66Kg division. the highlights of his career and best performanes are at featherweight. With wins over the likes of Elias Boudegzdame and Ali Alqaisi, this call to action might be taken seriously.
“If I get the chance to fight for the title in Brave, even if it is super short notice, ill try to get that shot.” Aziz said. “At least that’s how my mentality is.”
Aziz might not be the best fit at this point, given the fact that he is coming from a loss. Yet, it is known that Rami loves to comeback as fast as possible after coming short in fights, and when he sees an opportunity, he jumps at it. No response has yet been given on any replacement regarding the main event of Brave 2 ” Dynasty “. Yet, no matter what the decision is, the fight card is still action packed !
