Mohammad Yahya | He’s Going Down in One at Desert Force 25

Mohammad Yahya will make his comeback at Desert Force 25 and promises finish his opponent in the first round.

He will fight Hassan Talal, a tough Iraqi fighter from Team Source MMA, who was victorious in Desert Force 24 in his first professional fight.

Judging by Talal’s dominant performance, it’s going to be a tough night for Yahya who has not competed since February 2015.

Yet Mohammad Yahya believes he is returning to continue his dream and anyone standing in his way is going to suffer, including Talal.

He said:

“I’m back to follow my dreams and I’m coming back stronger and faster. I’ve never been this hungry.”

“I’m ready to fight this scary beast Hassan Talal and I have a lot of respect for him, it’s going to be a pleasure, but with all due respect he’s standing in front of me and my dreams and he’s going down in one.”

Yahya is returning and will hope to pick up where he left off last year, after he went 3-0 in the cage having finished all of his opponents in the first round.

His name had been in the title mix and he was rumoured to be fighting the then champion Tareq Hamdi, but he disappeared to fulfill his military obligations – calling a halt to his MMA career.

Now he’s back and is aiming to throw himself right back into the mix against the Talal, who looked impressive in his debut outing at Desert Force 24.

Yahya added:

“He looks strong but he will be no match for me. I’ve been away for almost a year and a half now serving this beautiful country of ours, doing my military service, but now that’s all done and I’m coming back hungrier than ever.”
