The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is hitting Chicago this Saturday to settle the records between the current bantamweight champ TJ Dillashaw and the man he stripped of the title, Brazilian bomber Renan Barao. Elsewhere on the card, Ramsey Nijem (9-5-0) – with Palestine on his shoulders – will square off against undefeated Andrew Holbrook (9-0).
Ramsey Nijem was initially scheduled to face Erik Koch (14-4 MMA, 3-3 UFC) who was forced out of their lightweight contest due to injury.
Nijem will be making his first cage appearance this year. “The Ultimate Fighter 13” finalist went 2-1 in 2014, defeating Justin Edwards and Beneil Dariush before suffering a TKO loss to Carlos Diego Ferreira at UFC 177.
His new opponent Holbrook is undefeated since turning pro with all nine of his professional wins coming by submission.
