It’s official, the main card at the upcoming Cage Warriors Fight Night 11 is set for April 18 at King Hussein Youth City Boxing Arena in Amman. Jordan will definitely be one for the ages. Algerian Tahar Hadbi will look to make his long awaited come back and add an extra win to his four bout streak as he squares off against “Black Death” Micheal Johnson in a welterweight matchup.
Tahar Hadbi to ArabsMMA:
“I feel proud to become a Cage Warriors fighter. As an Algerian citizen, I feel glad to make my Cage Warriors debut in the Middle East as well. Fighting in there represents an important step in my career and I won’t miss it.
I feel pretty confident in my abilities to become one of the best welterweights in Cage Warriors. ”
Johnson is looking to jump back into the win column after getting caught in a rear-naked choke by Wayne Murrie in BAMMA 14 not too long ago. The English native Johnson holds a record of 9-6-0 while his opponent, Algerian Tahar Hadbi holds a record of 9-5-0 and has been on a rampage, beating and punching his way before his injury.
He will now return after more than a year and have his promotional debut at Cage Warriors Fighting Championship this April. Another Arab joins CWFC roster, this time an Algerian representing the Arab MMA figters in Europe’s top promotion.
