It was an action-packed fight night in Belo Horizonte, Brazil when Brave Combat Federation executed its 11th installment.
Highlighting one of the best finishes that night is 9 time IBJJF world champion, Bruno Malfacine, the man who lived up to the hype as he submitted Rafael Pereira in the very first round with an Armbar.
Malfacine, 31, one of the greatest competitors in jiu-jitsu history made his transition to MMA in August 2017, winning his first fight via submission. Yesterday night, it was no different! Malfacine was looking to clinch and get the fight to the ground, and as soon as that happened, almost half way through the first, it was a downward slope for Pereira. Malfacine managed to take him down, take his back, ground and pound and eventually securing a tight armbar to end the fight at 3.15 minutes into the first.
What a way to end it for this flyweight fighter. Despite being the less experienced in the cage, Malfacine comfortably stuck to his game plan and got the W at Brave CF 11.
