Yazan Janeb Faces Roggy Lawson As Mohammad Karaki Gets New Opponent

Yazan Janeb has a new opponent for next month’s Desert Force 25 event in Amman, Jordan.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Mohammad Karaki will be facing Jordanian fighter Yazan Janeb in Desert Force 25 this December. However, it seems there was a change of plans as promotional newcomer Issey Francis was announced instead as Karaki’s opponent.

With just over a month until Desert Force 25, many were left wondering if Yazan Janeb would still be on the December card. In point of fact, Janeb will now meet French fighter Roggy Lawson who went 6-4 in his 10 professional career fights. Lawson was unsuccessful in his most recent outings. However, the well-rounded vet will look to avoid his fourth straight defeat when he meets Yazan at Desert Force 25. Surely a very physically tough and dangerous opponent! Check out for yourself:

Yazan will be entering the bout with a victory against Serbian fighter Jusuf Hajrovic at GFC 9 which took place in Kuwait this past May. Jordan’s beloved fighter will be fighting in front of his home crowd when he meets Roggy Lawson on December 19. Yazan Janeb had a long road as an amateur, with 7 fights and 5 at Cage Warriors promotion. He made his professional debut in 2014 at Cage Warriors Fight Night 10, battering his opponent to earn his first professional win.

Yazan Janeb:

“Two Arab middleweights rejected the fight on December 19th. So I chose to fight a guy 5 times better than both of them combined.”

Desert Force Al Academiya Season 4 Finale:

Desert Force 25 takes place on December 19, 2016 in Amman, Jordan. The event’s headliner will pit a light heavyweight rematch between the coaches Osama Al Saeidy and Mostafa Rached. Of course, the night will also feature the Al Academiya’s lightweight and light heavyweight title fights.
