Palm Sports, the technical arm of the UAE Jiu Jitsu Federation, has flown in renowned Jiu Jitsu Grand Master Hilton Leao da Silva, Master Joao Andrade Batista and Master Jose Adilson to head a seminar and workshop for the UAE-based coaches at the Zayed Sports City’s FGB Arena on January 3.
The event is part of the continued development and refresher course for the coaches attached to the country’s successful schools program and organized in coordination with the UAEJJF and the Abu Dhabi Educational Council.
Over 300 coaches are set to attend and benefit from the experience and knowledge of three grand masters of the martial art.
Master Hilton is an 8th Degree Coral (Red and Black belt) in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and is the president of Liga Brasileira de Jiu-Jitsu and founder of the Leao Dourado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association in Brazil.
Batista and Adilson are both white and red belt in the martial art. It is the third seminar and workshop to be held for the UAE-based coaches after Ricardo Liborio, co-founder of American Top Team, in June, and another renowned JJ practitioner Renzo Gracie in September.
