Abdulkareem Al Selwady Responds To TUF’s Alejandro Martinez Call Out

Brave CF lightweight Abdulkareem Al Selwady had quite an interesting name call him out in light of his promotional debut victory at Brave 1 this September.

This past Thursday, “The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America 3” TUF contestant and Entram Gym fighter Alejandro Martinez decided to trigger a verbal exchange in which he called out the Jordanian in a not-so-subtle way. Martinez was just talking himself into a future fight with Al Selwady as he blasted him about his latest fight.

ArabsMMA reached out to Al Selwady who had the following to say about his challenge:

“For a UFC guy to call me out that didn’t intimidate me at all, it just made me more confident that I am the best right here and everyone wants what I have. I am the best Arab MMA fighter out there and I know everyone is trying to fight me so they can get big fights.”

In his latest cage appearance, it took Al Selwady less than one round to put an end to a 2-year rivalry and numerous verbal bashes which he always preferred not to engage in.

“But similar the ones before him, they talked crap and they are what they speak. Him talking trash to me isn’t going to get him anywhere, I already have a fight lined up for me (can’t reveal any details yet), but if he wants to fight me he has to wait in line for his turn.”

“Trust me I know what I’m talking about, just wait and see all the call outs I’m going to get this year, to be the best you need to take out the best.”

Al Selwady will leave it to Brave management to present him his next opponent, and as always, the young MMA veteran will remain silent and let his fighting do the talking.

“I’m not a good keyboard fighter that’s not my thing, if he wants to do that, that just shows what he’s worth. I’m fighting at Brave Combat Federation, they give me a fight and I take it. Respect all, Fear none.”
