Suffering a loss after multiple years of absolute domination is a pill that’s kind of hard to swallow. After having 6 straight victories as a professional, Nawras “The Honey Badger” Abzakh tasted his first loss on the hands of Filipe Efrain with Abzakh coming in as a late replacement at Brave 9: Kingdom Of Champions.
Now, with Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises taking place in Jordan for the first time, the Circassian/Jordanian might have the opportunity of coming back stronger than ever, having learned alot from his mistakes inside the cage.
“My last loss was completely my fault. I was stubborn and decided to fight standing although I knew that if I had taken the fight to the ground, I would have won for sure.”
It’s still not clear who Abzakh’s next opponent will be or if he will take part of Brave CF 10 fight card. Abzakh doesn’t really seem to care who will Brave CF puts across the cage from him is. His sole focus is to deliver a top-notch performance the next time he steps out to compete and to prove that he is a high level bantamweight, as well as a serious contender at Brave CF.
“I’m still not sure if I will be on the card and I really don’t want to call out anyone because I don’t care who I face. The most important thing for me is to fight again and fight well this time. I want to show everybody where my real MMA level is at. I know I lost because of a mistake, but I’ll make up for it in a great performance in my next fight.”
Jordanian fans have always been a energetic and lively to welcome Mixed Martial Arts competition. They are known for their passionate support of their beloved fighters. Abzakh is confident that the arena will be sold out with Jordanian fans swarming the event.
“It will be a full arena in Jordan I’m sure. The Jordanian people love Mixed Martial Arts and it has been a whole since we’ve had an MMA event there. All the Jordanians fighters have their fans whom will be present, and I have my own fans so it’ll be awesome.”
