The Lebanese/Russian Rami Hamed will face Jose Caceres for the vacant Titan FC welterweight belt.
Fighting out of the recently established Team JAB in Lebanon, Ramy “The Russian” Hamed has finished all of his MMA fights in spectacular fashion inside the first round. Hamed (6-1) has won three straight, including a first-round submission over Isidro Rodriguez at Titan 46 in November.
Hamed will appear in Titan FC 48: Torres vs Orellano to take a shot at the promotion’s welterweight title strap, facing Caceres (13-7), the brother of UFC fighter Alex Caceres.

Receiving his training and guidance at American Top Team, a team that is considered by many as the premier leading MMA training center in the world today, Hamed has been fortunate to have the opportunity of truly developing his skills and pushing himself to the next level as a fighter. It is well-known that Titan FC has been a constant gateway for fighters reaching the UFC, and perhaps scoring a victory in his next bout will open up the door for Hamed to make a dream debut in the largest MMA promotion of them all.
The only obstacle currently facing Hamed is Jose Caceres, a very tough and experienced opponent having most of his wins coming by way of submission. Caceres has been active as an MMA professional fighter since 2010 and now holds a professional record of 13-7. His grappling game could be threatening to Hamed who is primarily a striker, but it is not the first time that Hamed has faced a powerful grappler and anything could happen.
Titan FC 48: Torres vs Orellano will take place at Xtreme Action Park Florida on February 16.
