Ahmad Ondash and Jalal Al Daaja Reunite in Phoenix 1

Phoenix Championship’s mega card in December continues to shape up, as the promotion announces new additions to its kick-off event.

Aside the Buakaw Vs. Kulebin headlining showdown, other bouts are being announced, with the latest being a rematch between Lebanese and Arab Muay thai champion Ahmad “Ondi” Ondash and the Jordanian MMA and Kickboxing champion Jalal Aldaaja.

Their first encounter took place last November at JAC (Jordan Amateur Championship) in Amman – Jordan, where Ondi won the main event fight and the belt of JAC over Jalal via KO in the second round.

The fight was massive; Whilst Jalal dominated the first round, Ondi succeeded to knock him out in the second one.

Ondi moved on to win the WMO (World Muay Thai Organization) belt in Beirut Fight Night event earlier this year, while Daaja improved his pro MMA record to 3-1.

Jalal made it clear that he is interested in fighting Ondash one more time to prove he can win this time. From his side, Ondi believes he can win the rematch in Beirut, in front of his home fans.

Is Ondi going to do it again? Or is Jalal going to get his revenge in Beirut? Stay tuned o ArabsMMA as more on Phoenix 1 is revealed.
