Amman, Jordan – Jalal Al Da’jaa landed just enough kicks to frustrate Ahmad Ondash forcing the latter to end the bout with a shattering single-punch KO. Team Shogun’s Ahmad “Ondi” Ondash left the Jordanian dazed enough for the referee to halt the fight, earning him the knockout victory at the halfway mark of the second round.

The K1 super lightweight title bout was the main event of Jordan Amateur Championship “JAC 5” event taking place at the Hussein Sports City, Boxing Arena on the 20th of November, 2015.

As hometown favorite Jalal steps foot into the cage, the Jordanian crowd erupts into loud cheers. For Ondash, this was the last grasp to bring back glory to his fellow Lebanese fighters who were not very fortunate that night.

In the opening round, Jalal utilized his front kicks to keep Ondash away, provoking the Lebanese and driving him to act hasty. The Jordanian capitalizes, and lands some clean combos which clearly rocked Ondash.

Round 2, the even more hyped-up crowd cheers for their fighter who is giving it his all. Following a nice combo after the clinch, Jalal proceeds with the same front kick which appeared to be effective in holding his opponent back. It seems that “Ondi” has picked up on it, and landed a straight right that knocked out Jalal, one of the best strikers in Jordan.

The Team Shogun product claimed the JAC K1 super lightweight belt, bringing relief to the Lebanese fans.
