Unfortunately for the Iraqi fighter Ahmad Saeb, he is going to have to wait a little longer to try to avenge his last defeat at Desert Force and get back on the winning track.
The Iraqi, being the last of the Samurai’s, had faced Georges Eid in Desert Force 15, coming into the fight with an impressive unanimous win against Jordan’s Saif Quandour.
The bout in Desert Force’s return to Jordan has been cancelled, after Saeb was injured during training camp.
Desert Force officials confirmed Monday that Saeb (2-1) suffered a fractured bone in his hand and has been forced to withdraw from his May 25 fight at Desert Force 17 versus Jordanian Yousef Zoghbabab at King Hussein Boxing Arena.
The event is still amazingly stacked and no further changes have been announced 5 days prior to fight night. Samurai Team are down to one fighter, Hussein Salem to represent Iraq at Desert Force 17 HomeComing. Check out the full fight card on this link.
