Team Al Taamari stormed Desert Force for the first time this year earning 3 out of 3 wins so far in the promotion. When the promotion heads to Amman this Monday, 4 fighters representing the team will be looking to raise Al Taamari’s record to a clean 7-0 at Desert Force.
Yousef Abu Shreekh is back after a TKO victory against Abdulrahman Tyson in Desert Force 15, Abu Dhabi, this time facing Amin Nacheb from Tunisia. Ezzeldine Derabne will have his hands full as he meets Hussein Salem in a superb striking match up. Jalal Aldajaa will have his promotional debut and will look to make a statement when he faces Jordanian rival, and Ali Alqaisi who will also step into the Desert Force cage for the first time.
Yet the heaviest and most anticipated fights on the main card will pit Jarrah Al Selawi Vs Tarek Suleiman in a heated battle.
Jarrah submitted Mohammad Fakhreddine in his first appearance at Desert Force, sending a loud message to the welterweight division. In turn, Suleiman’s latest victory was a brutal one, and winner could be the next #1 contender and official challenger for the welterweight Shield.
In an interview on MBC Action, coach Altaamari shared his thoughts on Suleiman saying:
“We are ready for you Tarek Suleiman because you are a champion, and a champ needs another champ like him … We will end the fight in our way. Get ready for Jarrah”
“I have seen Suleiman develop as a fighter since the early days in his career. He shows the determination and the will of a warrior. We are not worried as we have a special place to suit his style.”
