bantamweight bout between Ali Alnaemi (2-3 Desert Force) and Jalal Aldajaa (0-1 MMA, 4-0-1 Amateur) is the latest addition to Desert Force 17 in Amman, Jordan.
Desert Force officials announced the bout yesterday.
Desert Force 17 takes place on May 18 in Jordan’s Capital Amman at the King Hussein Boxing Arena.
Ali Alnaemi, holding a professional record of 2-3, has fought as a welterweight, a lightweight and now drops to bantamweight at 61 Kg! With a recent loss to Ezzedine Alderbane (watch fight here), Ali Al Naemi took some time to think and decided that bantamweight will be best fit for his body type. With every one of his bouts being action filled and entertaining, Al Naemi will look, not only to put on a show, but also to become a serious contender at the bantamweight division.
Fighting out of Team Al Taamari, Jalad Aldaaja will be looking to make his promotional debut under the Desert Force banner. With 4 amateur wins in the European promotion Cage Warriors, Aldajaa made his pro debut against a much more experienced Jason Carbajal (7-3) at GFC Gladiatior Fighting Championship 6 in Kuwait. He will look to redeem his loss at Desert Force 17 against the Qatari. Though he is not a favorite in this bout against the much more experienced Al Naemi, an upset in this match will shoot his name immediately as a serious force and strong contender in Desert Force.
With two straight defeats, Al Naemi will be investing with everything he has for a win in Desert Force 17 against an opponent where all the odds are in his favor.
