Tristar Gym Lebanon – With Desert Force 16, Al Academiya Season 3, and IMMAF world championship at the doors, Wissam Abi Nader’s Tristar fighters are getting ready more than ever to hit the battle ground with an iron fist this year.
World class Wushu Sanda fighter, Amir Fazli, has been recently spotted in Tristar Gym attending training sessions along side the renowned local Lebanese fighters.
Little is known about the main reasons for Fazli’s visit, yet it seems the 24 year old is looking to start an MMA career and could possibly join Tristar Gym as a fighter – not as a striking coach.
With a background in striking (Sanda , MuayThai and Kickboxing) powered by wrestling skills and undeniable physical power, this young prospect could very well be a powerhouse on the middle eastern MMA scene.
Originally from Islamic Republic of Iran, Fazli is best remembered for beating Muslim Salikhov in 2013 Wushu World Champinoship. That win paved the way for Fazli to become one of the few people to ever defeat Salikhov in Kung Fu.
Fazli could very well be a lucrative addition to Tristar team if this visit turns out to be long term. His striking level accompanied by Wissam Abi Nader’s ground game can very well be a leathal combination to a very bright future in the MMA industry.
