Ever since his first fight at Desert Force, the Moroccan Anas Siraj has looked very impressive in all parts of the mixed martial arts game. Despite losing his first ever MMA fight in Desert Force against the current welterweight champion, Mounir “Sniper” Lazzez, Siraj managed to show that he is a complete fighter with a good set of skills that can put anyone in trouble.

After his recent fight and win in Desert Force 16 against tough opponent, Amr Wahman, Siraj now seems to be interested in dropping to the another stacked division, the light weight division. Bad news for all the 70 Kg fighters as Siraj would make a threatening lightweight!

Desert Force lightweight division could nevertheless be invaded by the Moroccans, with Triki being crowned as the divisional Champ, Hajjajy making a successful debut and now a possible addition of someone at Siraj Mounir level makes this even more compelling.

Doubtlessly, Siraj would be an interesting addition to the lightweight roster. It will be also exciting to see if he can actually make the weight, being a big guy as he is.
