Anis Al Hajjajy wants “his title” back!
After a very impressive performance at Desert Force 20 this past month, the former welterweight champion Aniss Al Hajjajy has proven again that he is one of the best pound for pound fighters in Desert Force with arguably the best Jiu Jitsu in the promotion. Al Hajjay ran through Christofer Silva in the first round submitting him via Kimora. Easy!
Al Hajjajy sent this video to ArabsMMA , making it clear that he’s coming back for the welterweight title. The Moroccan reigned Desert Force’s first welterweight champion when he defeated Amr wahman at Desert Force “Grand Prix Finals” event in June 2013. He then took the decision to abandon the 77kg title and drop to lightweight, but now he’s back and hungry. Since then, matters have changed a lot and the Shield is now the property of Mounir Lazzez. He is yet to defend his title but a match up between the interim title holder Fakhreddine and Lazzez is thought to be in the near future. Check out the post fight altercation at Desert Force 20 , after Moh. Fakhreddine defeated Jarrah Alselawe claiming the interim title.
Aniss Al Hajjajy:
My last fight against Christofer Silva was an easy win, I took him down and submitted him via Kimura. I am ready for anyone at 77kg. I will get back my shield Inshallah, and this is my right. The shield was mine and I did not lose it. I ask Desert Force to give me the chance to get my title back. I am ready for any opponent. Expect to see even better skills and technique in my next fight.
Check out the submission finish from Desert Force 20 in the below video. The Kimura is Aniss’s favourite submission as he mentioned to ArabsMMA. He perfected it as he moved from one belt to another reaching his Black belt under Boston Top Team.
