BRAVE Combat Federation, the Middle East’s premier MMA Fighting Championship showcased a great night of MMA action for the local Abu Dhabi fans at the IPIC Arena. The much-anticipated main event, featherweight title fight between Elias Boudegzdame and Masio Fullen was hardcore, fast and dramatic with a beautiful triangle submission by Elias.
The event began in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, UFC Superstars Cris Cyborg and Star Peter Sobotta, SBG Ireland head coach John Kavanagh.
The IPIC Arena was rocking with over 1000 energetic fans in attendance and the viewers watching live on OSN Sports, Abu Dhabi Sports, ABS-CBN, Claro Sports, Combate and Myx TV in over 50 countries around the world.
In the main event of the night, Elias Boudegzdame dropped Masio Fullen with a right hand within 30 seconds before being dropped badly on the floor himself. The fight was electric from the first bell, with both fighters rocked within the first minute; it was Elias who outsmarted the Mexican and submitting him in the first round by a triangle choke. Boudegzdame became the first ever Brave Combat Federation champion !

In the main card, the Jordanian Abdulkareem Al Selwady defeated Brazilian Michael Diega-Scheck via TKO in the first round in one of the most entertaining fights of the night.
German/Kurdish Alan Omer defeated USA’s Robbie Peralta via a rear naked choke in the third round.
Next, Jarrah Al Silawi of Jordan defeated Daniele Scatizzi of Italy via a unanimous decision. Jarrah lost the first round but came back to dominate in both the 2nd and 3rd. Philippine’s Jomar Pa-ac defeated India’s Atif Hawk by a split decision in a very close and tactical fight. Next fight on the card was between the Moroccan Ottman Azaitar and Charlie Leary from England, Ottman won via KO in the first round in one of the best rounds in MMA history.
In the co-main event, Lebanon’s Mohammed Fakhreddine defeated the Brazilian Vinicius Cruz via the stoppage from the doctor. Vinicius suffered a super a heavy gash on the top of his head in the second round, which led to this decision by the doctor.
The first fight on the card was between Rafael Souza of Brazil vs Serg Jayson of Phillipines. Souza won by a unanimous decision after going the distance in an exciting and energetic fight.
Next, Ben Forsyth of Ireland vs Marco Knoebel of Brazil?, It was a tough night for for Jon Kavannah’s protégé, who was dropped twice after the referee stopped the fight. France’s Frans Mlambo defeated Jordan’s Jalal Al Daaja by submission in the third round. Mlambo knew he had to finish to win, and that’s what he did.
Egypt’s Ahmed Amir defeated the Argentinian Kevin Kolodobsky by putting him to sleep via a rear naked choke in the second round. This guy is doing big things !!! Abu Dhabi based Brazilian Fabiano Silva defeated Ramadan Mohamed of Egypt via TKO in the first round.
