BRAVE CF Announces Pan-American Combat Week Alongside BRAVE Colombia

BRAVE Combat Federation made a groundbreaking announcement to host Pan-American Championships and a fight night in Colombia after hosting the largest International Fight Week in Europe. BRAVE Pan-American Combat Week will take place in Bogota, Colombia, between August 8 to 12. The week-long event will culminate with a BRAVE fight night on August 12.

Partnering with the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) and the Colombian Association of Mixed Martial Arts (OCAMM) the Pan-American Championships will kick off on August 8th with amateur athletes from North, Central, and South America, all competing for global rankings under the IMMAF. The fight night by BRAVE CF will be held in co-promotion with Latin Fighter Championship (LFC), giving opportunity for regional talent to compete at a global level with international fighters.

In February, BRAVE CF and various stakeholders, including IMMAF and the Serbian MMA Federation (SMMAF), organized the largest International Fight Week in Belgrade, Serbia, bringing together more than 550 athletes from over 60 nations to compete in the IMMAF World Championships. The fight week also witnessed the epic BRAVE CF 69 that set the highest viewership record in the promotion’s history in front of a sold-out Stark Arena.

In August 2023, the BRAVE fight night will be the third event by the promotion in Colombia following BRAVE CF 15 (Bucaramanga, 2018) and BRAVE CF 26 (Bogota, 2019). The last two events highlighted the potential in the region giving opportunities to the upcoming stars and veterans while paving the foundation for future events and building strategic market relations for the growth of BRAVE CF.

With the partnership of the Colombian MMA Association, the Sports Institute of Bogota, and LFC Colombia, the promotion also started a program focused on empowering the local MMA scene giving rise to some of BRAVE CF’s most exciting stars, including Road to BRAVE CF winner, Eduardo Mora

2023 witnessed an aggressive expansion by the Bahrain-based promotion exploring new territories in Europe, South America, and Asia, partnering with local promotions to nurture a sustainable ecosystem for the sport of Mixed Martial Arts while elevating the fighters in the region to become national heroes performing in front of their fans. While the promotion continues to showcase upcoming Arab fighters in its global events, Mohammed Shahid, President of BRAVE Combat Federation actively articulated to create more opportunities for Arab fighters to showcase their potential before global MMA fans.
