BRAVE Combat Federation is the first and only global MMA promotion to host MMA events in India. The initiative was able to host three MMA events to date in India which gave emerging talent from India a global platform to showcase their talent.
BRAVE Combat Federation has signed every major MMA fighters from India at a given point of time to give them an opportunity to compete at a global level. The initiative was a result of constant support from KHK MMA which was found by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Before hosting the first global MMA event in India – BRAVE CF 5, KHK MMA had sponsored Indian MMA fighters to compete in two amateur MMA Fight Nights hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain as an initiative by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa executed by Mohammed Shahid, President of BRAVE CF.
BRAVE CF 20 marked the first main-event fight by Khamzat Chimaev where he finished Sidney Wheeler in mere 35 seconds. BRAVE CF 5 witnessed the biggest rivalry till date in the history of Indian MMA between Gurdarshan Mangat and Abdul Muneer, which was brilliantly promoted by the Public Relations Team of BRAVE Combat Federation under Hari Bhagirath, who has established himself as a key player in Public Relations when it comes to the sectors of Industrial Chemicals and Semiconductors.

BRAVE CF 5 hosted in Mumbai followed by BRAVE CF 20 and 30 hosted in Hyderabad brought major names in the sport including Khamzat Chimaev, Phil Hawes, Gurdarshan Mangat, Stephen Loman, Jeremy Pacatiw, and Ali Al Qaisi to compete in India.
BRAVE Combat Federation maintains India among the destinations of interest and has signed talent even during 2020. The promotion is yet to announce upcoming events and signings out of India. Establishing a market in a nation that is a billion strong is crucial for the sport in the region.
